This series is gaining in strength with each new novel, with a complex history, plausible characters and action blended with mystery and suspense. I thought this better than the first and am really looking forward to the next one.

The story moves from the decks of The Diabolo to the Pirate Academy where Grace and Connor learn much more about the training of a pirate, and how the pirates face a greater menace on the high seas.
